10.04.99 ---Delays! Delays! Delays!--- This has been a very bad day for web updates here at the Party Pagoda. First of all, it was brought to my attention that this web page was unviewable since late last week. Sure enough, I checked it out Sunday afternoon and I couldn't see a damn thing. Apparently some-other staff member (I know who you are) at the University College decided to edit some of her documents with Microsoft Front Page (the worst program I've ever had the displeasure of working with). As a result, she fried the html source code at the Party Pagoda as well as the Univerisity College web page. And if spending an hour re-editing html code wasn't enjoyable enough, the web updates that were supposed to be brought online today were unsuccessful. As it seems, the zip file that contained the updates was corrupt, thus preventing the new files from being accessed and updated. Things are looking up however, and as promised the web updates SHOULD be completed by Tuesday. 09.27.99 ---Web Updates Coming Soon--- Classes have begun once again, and as promised, Party Pagoda web updates will also resume. Unfortunately, this summer I was not able to devote as much time to content as I had hoped. However, there is a huge web update coming very soon (as early as late this week.) I'm not going to give out too much information, but I am very excited about this update, the first in almost 4 months! I guarantee the new section will be fully operational by Tuesday, so check back then. 06.09.99 ---No More Updates for 3 Months--- It's that time of year again! School is over for another year, which means my connection to web updates is over too. In other words there will be no more Party Pagoda updates until late, next September. But don't fret, I've already begun working on web updates for next year. My summer project is to get all areas of the Party Pagoda working by October, just in time for Beergate '99. 05.25.99 ---BHS Graphics Descriptions Updated--- We've finally got all the photos and negatives' descriptions up and running. The negatives' descriptions were the most recent to be upadated. Check it out. I also update some code to reflect new links. As you may notice, the links on this page are no longer underlined. I'm very proud of this because I've been trying to isolate the correct code for a couple of months now. Minor change, but quite tricky. 05.13.99 ---Splash and More--- We have just added an intro splash screen to the party pagoda. It's simple, but I like the graphic. In addition, we've added a counter from LinkExchange. That is all. 05.11.99 ---Party Pagoda Disclaimer--- Per last night's Party Pagoda chairmen of the board meeting, today we have voluntarily placed a disclaimer to resolve some burning issues. According to the Party Pagoda co-editor, our content at times seems to be "questionable." As a result, we would like to assure our guests that the Jick and Juddy Party Pagoda in no way intended to insinuate homo-eroticism. Any instances herein are purely coincidental. We here at the Party Pagoda do not condone nor denounce homosexuality in any form. Thank you. According to my homo-phobic co-editor, instances that remain "questionable" are the following: Mr. Dossie as a high-school-heartthrob Justin getting a rise Jason poses for us According to an internal memo, in defence of content the web page developement team had this to say: "I can't believe this is getting so blown out of proportion. It's absurd that the humor on this page is considered even slightly homo-erotic. It's called sarcasm... learn to deal with it! |
